To apply for a Veteran’s Credit applicants must complete an (PA-33) application in the Assessing office at the Town Hall with proof of military discharge (DD214) with the following qualifications.
One must be a resident of NH for a least one (1) year proceeding April 1st.
Must have served not less than 90 days in the Armed Forces of the United States in any qualifying war or armed conflict and was honorably discharged or an officer honorably separated, the spouse or surviving spouse of such resident.
Residents that served between July 1, 1958 and December 22, 1961 must have earned the Vietnam service medal or the armed forces expeditionary medal.
If the property if listed under a Trust name or a life estate a PA-33 state form must be signed and a copy of the trust or documents showing life estate must be provided.
