Rye Water District announces the semi-annual flushing of town water mains beginning Monday, April 18 through May 20, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. to midnight. Brownish or cloudy water and low water pressure may occur. Residents are urged to run cold water until it runs clear. Water District Officials state that this discoloration poses no health hazard.
