            The regular meeting of the Rye Driftwood Garden Club will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in Fellowship Hall of the Congregational Church at Rye Center.  Staff from the Center for Wildlife in Cape Neddick, Maine will present a program on “Raptors, Reptiles and Mammals”.  They will bring wildlife from each group and discuss the work being done at the center.  Joan Sweeney will serve as chairman of the Hostess Committee for this meeting.

            Members may sign up for the Thursday, December 3rd workshop at the November meeting.  Workshop participants will create fresh holiday arrangements to be sold at the Webster at Rye Christmas Fair which will be held Saturday, December 5th in the large solarium at the rear of Webster at Rye from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Contributions of greens, containers and accessories such as ribbon are welcome.

            November 30th is the deadline for reservations for the Annual Christmas Luncheon to be held on December 8th at the Wentworth By The Sea Country Club. Members should note that this is the second Tuesday of the month.  Sign up at the November meeting or contact Kathy Fitzgerald or Joan Walsh for more details.
