There is a dead or injured animal on the beach. What should I do?

If it is injured, don’t move it or try to help it. Keep people away. Make note of the location…what beach, near what house, street, or other landmark. Call the Rye Police Department at 964-5522, as soon as possible, especially if the animal is injured.
