Rye Water District Annual Meeting
PUBLIC NOTICE
To the inhabitants of the Rye Water District in the Town of Rye, in the County of Rockingham in said State qualified to vote on District affairs:
You are hereby notified that the Rye Water District Annual Meeting, which was postponed from its original meeting date due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, has been rescheduled to Saturday, July 11, 2020 based on Governor Sununu’s lift of the ‘stay at home’ order. Due to the lack of available inside meeting facilities in Rye and in an effort to avoid prolonged exposure indoors, the meeting will be held in the open at Parsons Field starting at 10:00 a.m. Social distancing requirements will be observed with participant’s being asked to position themselves six feet apart. The District requests that all attendees wear face coverings to the event, with masks being available to the public on site. Plans have been made to ensure that the voter check list process, material handouts, ballots and voting will be done in an orderly and safe manner consistent with CDC guidelines. As a contingency, a rain date of July 18th has also been established.
