2: Who can vote by absentee ballot?

Any registered voter who (1) will be absent on election day, (2) cannot appear in public on election day due to the observance of a religious commitment, (3) cannot vote in person because of a physical disability, (4) cannot vote in person due to an employment obligation, or (5), with respect to the State Primary on September 8, 2020 or the General Election on November 3, 2020, has “concern for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19),” may vote by absentee ballot. Absentee ballot applications are available from the Town Clerk’s office up to the day before the election. They can also be downloaded from this website.  If you do vote by absentee ballot, make sure you personally SIGN both the absentee ballot application and the Affidavit envelope that is supplied to you to put your ballot in. Otherwise, your ballot may not be counted.
