Event Date:
Wednesday, January 12, 2022 - 6:30am

The Planning Board Long Range Planning Committee (LRPC) has been hard at work to develop a draft Master Plan Vision Chapter Framework. The LRPC has met each month in 2021 and held a public Visioning Workshop on November 10th. This Survey replicates a public input form from the workshop and this input form is also posted on the Town of Rye website. The LRPC offers this online version to encourage as many town residents, property owners and businesses to participate in the Visioning process. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DS2P7NK

NOTE: this online survey will end on January 12, 2022. The LRPC respectfully requests that if you completed the public input form previously or attended the November 10, 2021 Vision Workshop that you do not complete this survey.

The Master Plan Visioning project is using the following SWOT format described below to collect insights and input from participants. The LRPC will use your feedback from this survey to inform preparation of a Master Plan Vision Chapter Framework.

Strengths – positive outcomes; “win-win” for multiple outcomes and benefits; current policy, regulation and planning that have achieved positive outcomes

Weaknesses - improvements, new ideas and approaches needed, under-performing facilities, policies, management strategies or regulations

Opportunities – ways to modify current policy, regulation and planning to enhance positive outcomes

Threats – past and current trends that have created unintended or undesirable outcomes or impacts

You will have the opportunity to enter responses in the SWOT categories under 3 discussion topics: Our Community, Our Land Development and Growth and Our Environment, Climate Change and Resilience.
