Floodplain Managment Ordinance

The Rye Floodplain Management Ordinance is Chapter 60 in the Rye General Code.  It was amended in 2020 to add the new FEMA maps adopted January 29, 2021.  It was also amended on 1-16-2024 Chapter 60-6 to put a time frame around the determination of Substantial Damage/Substantial Improvement and a starting date, to apply a term date for calculating substantial improvment and substantial damage.  Click here for the Rye Floodplain Ordinance.
