Master Plan Public Forum Event
The Town of Rye is busy creating a new Master Plan and we need your input! A Master Plan is the town’s policy road map and provides a clear path forward into the future. It presents the community’s shared vision and goals for Rye and sets forth a recommended set of strategies and actions to achieve these over the next ten years. This community-created document ensures that future decisions made by our town boards, community organizations, and developers are aligned with the community’s priorities. We need broad participation from Rye residents and community members to help us create Rye’s new Master Plan. Over the next few months, we will be asking the community for additional input and direction. Here are some of the ways you can inform the process and help us to get the word out!

The Rye Master Plan Steering Committee is hosting a fun and interactive Community Forum Event on February 15, 2024 at the Rye Junior High School Gymnasium (501 Washington Road) from 6pm – 8pm. Help us get the word out about this event by sharing these details with your friends, family, neighbors, and other Rye residents! This community forum event will be your opportunity to learn more about Rye today, to provide feedback on what you love about the community, and to share your ideas for the future!

- An online version of the community forum event will be open to the public for one month following the in-person forum. Please visit the project website to participate online and encourage other residents to participate!
